I only have 17% phys resistance myself, but have Overguard (flat damage absorb) which I can keep permanently active when needed due to cooldown reduction. I quickly kill any boss that doesn't deal too much damage for me (they currently number very few next to Morgoneth) and as an additional measurement I kill nearly any hero mob in just one ability rotation via the DoTs at the end of each ability route (they deal ridiculous damage). To summarize I'm completely fine damage-wise. I noticed almost no difference in damage doing so. I should mention that I actually used Assassin's Mark before on a even more offensive build but I swapped it away because I died too much on lower content. Someone else also suggested War Cry, I might try it. Clearly a waste.Īssassin's Mark is a waste as it caters to Pierce Damage dealers, which I literally have only one minor source of (Rending Force). If I would swap to Primal Bond I would lose all abilities that deal Trauma damage as well as lose Deadly Momentum that amps all my damage sources nearly as much as Primal Bond, except that as mentioned, I would have no Trauma damage to put into it, which is also my most amped damage source next to physical. It's simply an additional damage source that comes for free. I also actually have several sources of bleed damage: Internal Trauma (the ability is called that), Blade Arc, Fighting Form and Grasping Vines. The bleed damage bonuses just come with it on most gear. I'm building towards Phys/Trauma damage though. I'll reply to your comment anyway though. I asked about why certain enemies oneshot me and I got perfectly fine answers to that. Thanks for the suggestions! All-in-all though you're solving a problem that isn't there. A special mention on top of the previous one goes out to Indieexpress. I'll leave it open for some more time before changing the flair.Įdit 3: Thanks to everyone who commented! I changed to Solved now. Fighting Spirit is also not accounted for, but I didn't include that either in the number I mentioned earlier.Įdit 2: Big thanks for all the replies! I got some genuinely constructive ones (Nwodaz and willo-wisp being champs in particular) and I essentially consider this one solved. The Def-ability is different from the one I mentioned due to Field Command not being active. Am I missing something about the damage sources in this one dungeon?ĮDIT: got a grimtools link by request. I have all resistances maxed and 13k hp, yet this dungeon feels just like when I started in Ultimate on 8k hp and -50% in most resistances. While the game feels playable everywhere, in this dungeon I regularly get oneshotted by normal mobs (Animated Preservers of the Damned) and I can only beat the first boss and Scions of Hunger without slow strategies based on Aether Cluster usage. I can solo everything so far with a major exception in the Tomb of the Heretic. Hello folks! I'm a mediocre endgame player who completed all content except the milestones of the Shattered Realm.
